Jasmine for Treasurer
Transparency

I want residents to know what is happening in the Treasurer’s Office. I will provide updates about changes, new services, and other information that may affect their experience with the office. I also want employees to be kept informed about what is happening within the office. Keeping employees informed gives them the information they need to accurately communicate with the people they serve.

I will be responsible with taxpayer dollars while making sure employees have the supplies, equipment, and resources they need to do their jobs. Spending decisions should be made carefully, with consideration given to whether something is actually needed and whether that money could be better used elsewhere in the office.

I also want residents to have more opportunities to tell us what is working and what is not. I plan to bring back comment cards so residents can share their experiences, concerns, and suggestions. Feedback should not be limited to complaints. It can also help identify what is working well and where improvements can be made.

I want employees to have a voice as well. Employees working directly with residents see what is happening every day and can identify problems and areas that could be improved. I want them to be able to share their concerns, experiences, and ideas.

I want open communication with both residents and employees to be part of how I run the Treasurer’s Office.
