About Me
My name is Jasmine Gibson. I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. I am blessed with four wonderful children who were also born and raised in Lincoln, NE. I have worked in the Lancaster County Treasurer’s Office for over 10 years and have completed over 100,000 transactions, most while working face to face with residents of Lancaster County. I’ve always taken pride in any work that I do, and that includes while serving the community.
I have education and experience in management, leadership, and training. I have several degrees, have taken several accredited courses outside of my degrees including investing courses, and processed taxes for a couple of years.

Current Position
- Corrected over 2500 motor vehicle tax districts so that money in the county is distributed correctly
- Successfully transitioned to the State’s new software when it was implemented, quickly learning the system through daily use, figuring out processes and functions others were unfamiliar with, and showing coworkers how to use them
- Resolved complicated customer and transaction problems
- Built a very high level of practical knowledge involving titles, registrations, sales tax, liens, tax assessment, and statutory/regulatory requirements
