My goal is to give residents more opportunities to complete their business with the Treasurer’s Office. I want to expand the number of appointment slots available and have more service windows open so more people can receive help.
I also want title transactions available at the downtown Treasurer’s Office throughout the full business day. This would give residents another location and more hours during the day to complete title work.
I want to make better use of technology to make transactions easier to complete. When an eligible document can be provided electronically, I want residents to be able to send it directly to the office and employees assisting them to have access to those documents.
I want residents to have more continuity throughout their transaction. When someone only needs a few minutes to pull up proof of insurance or obtain another document, I want there to be more flexibility for them to continue their transaction without starting the process over. For more complicated transactions that require additional steps or a return visit, I want employees to be able to build on the work that has already been done whenever possible.
I want to make the information already available online easier for residents to find and use. I want residents to be able to quickly find what applies to their specific transaction, what documents they may need, and what options are available to them without having to search through multiple pages.
I also want to use additional ways of communicating information, including social media, to share updates, reminders, and direct links that can help residents prepare before coming into the office.
My goal is to give residents more ways to get the information and services they need, more opportunities to be helped when they come into the office, and greater continuity throughout their transaction.
